This is the blog where you will find the personal stories of our fellow warriors. This is one of our primary missions. Sharing our stories to as many folks who will listen to get the word out about the silent killer known to many of us as "kidney cancer." We need to help educate the general public as well as our friends and families and by sharing our stories, we take a huge step in the right direction. Thank you to all the warriors who have participated and for those who will follow and open yourself up to share your story here on the KCW Blog. It's one thing to share your story within the KCW community on facebook ... but to share it on a blog that others will follow who are not in the kidney cancer community ... now that's where we start crossing the line of informing one another to reaching out in the general public arena and increasing kidney cancer awareness! This is a Memorial for those who have been taken from us far too soon due to this horrible kidney cancer disease. It is our way of honoring those who have paved the way for us, who carried their torches and have won the race. It is in their honor, we chose to run the race in determination of increasing awareness & causing a cure to be found sooner than later! May we NEVER forget!
